It's hard to imagine a more fulfilling profession for myself. While shooting weddings I often catch myself thinking of how lucky I am - witnessing a happy,
in love and emotional couple surrounded by friends and loved ones, living right through one of the happiest days
of their lives. If that is not enough, I get to do my work in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina, complete with amazing seasons
and breathtaking backdrops.
I have a photojournalistic philosophy - my goal as a wedding photographer is to capture raw, uninterrupted moments so that your pictures will reveal the emotion you lived through during your wedding day. I also believe that there is a balance between "posed" and "candid" pictures based on the client's desire.
On a more personal note, I have been told that I have a calming presence during weddings. I smile quite a bit and believe that it is a true reflection of being where I want to be and doing exactly what I love to do. I am respectful, humble and always honored to be a part of a wedding.
Liam Photography is based out of Boone, NC, near Blowing Rock and Banner Elk. I often travel to surrounding areas and cities including East Tennessee, Charlotte, Raleigh, the Tri-Cities and Asheville. I am also available for destination weddings throughout the globe.
I am married to my beautiful wife Katie and have a 6 year old son, Liam, whom I named my business after.
